Hello, as I am generally a low key kind of guy and i have not met anyone through my job or at the supermarket I thought I would try this “new” internet thing. I am not a “party animal” and abhor the bar scene mostly due to the smoke and way loud music.

A little about me; I am 5’ 8 ”, medium build weighing in at around 179 (although most don’t believe I weigh that). i have dark blond hair with a touch of grey and blue eyes. I *used* to work for a high end audio video custom shop (harvey electronics), designing and selling music systems and dedicated home theaters. I got into the field due to my love for music (and now film). But now I am "living the life of leisure" in other words currently unemployed due to the lovely economy we are experiencing, (company went chapter 11 and closed all their stores!) thankfully I have some bucks in the bank allowing me to take my time looking for a new job, maybe a new career! I like most types of music except maybe rap and disco. I’ll listen to anything as long as it sounds good. When I am not working around my new home deciding what to do with all the space, decorating, cutting the lawn etc., I like to ride one of my bicycles, road or mountain. both great disciplines, but very different. I just reset-up my weight machines for use this winter so I could get in better shape. I do own rollerblades but I have not used them in a while.

I enjoy taking driving trips to ringwood or high point to hike or bike. I do own a motorcycle and love to ride it for stress relief, want to ride together? If I had a partner we would probably travel further together. I enjoy eating out at “exotic” restaurants, sushi, thai, indian, if push comes to shove I can cook a bit, omelets are my specialty.

I also enjoy reading, mostly about technology, not novels. These are just a few tidbits. Upon further inspection you will learn more.

I was hoping to meet someone who is unencumbered with small children (not a "deal breaker" though), intelligent, “down to earth”, in reasonable shape and easy on the eyes that we could make a lasting relationship together. As you all know it is very difficult to know if you will like someone on here by reading their profiles, looking at pictures and the percentage "match", ultimately you have to meet, kind of like in real life! lol. I will respond to all replies. Maybe we will make a match or just become friends (or not!)

PS. I just read the paragraphs generated by the test on here and while some of it is just on, some of it is a bit off base. I guess if we chat you will learn which is correct and which is not.

It depends on what you want to do as well, but for a first meet, something low pressure and casual.
