As a professional comedian, I spend my life standing on stage trying to make others happy. Until recently, that's been enough but I think it's time that I included someone else in all the fun!

So what do I want out of life? At the moment, I'm essentially looking for someone to enjoy life with. Someone smart, funny and interesting. The cliché, sure, but that's genuinely what I'm looking for. I'm also looking for someone who's okay with children. I have two already and they're important in my life, even though they don't live with me.

I'd love to meet a girl who takes care of her appearance and can make me laugh, who can keep me interested in a conversation (no matter how intellectual or asinine we get!) and who is as relaxed and fun-loving as I am. That said, I'm not really looking for a comedienne... They can be a troubled bunch!

I'm a part-trained English teacher and I also have an adventurous spirit and enjoy travelling (When I can afford it!) and have always liked extreme sports.

When I'm not on stage, I generally enjoy relaxing with friends over a pint or at a movie, but I'm quite content to spend time at home. When alone, I read to relax and it's extremely unusual for me to not be carrying a book at any given time.

I almost always have music playing. My tastes are quite eclectic and while I mostly stick to alternative rock, metal and RnB, I'm curious about your tastes and love to hear something new. I try and make it to at least one concert a week. I hope you love live music too!

I do enjoy sports, both watching and participating, though a knee injury makes it harder for me to compete these days. Favourite sports would be football, American football, ice hockey, boxing, martial arts and wrestling. Meeting a fellow sports fan would be ideal but if you don't like sports, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

I also love shopping more than any man should ever admit to. What's more fun than running around the shops looking at new things? I'll shop till you drop then carry you and the bags home! I also love cheesy teen dramas and John Hughes movies and I never hog the remote! I even love a good chick flick, so I'll let you pick the movie and I'll make the popcorn.

As an idea first date, I'd fly you to Aruba where we could talk, drink and laugh all night whilst enjoying walks on a white sandy beach. Unfortunately, I'm not made of money (Sorry) but I promise something fun. Drinks, dinner and a show is always a timeless classic, right? Who knows, maybe I'll cook for you and mix you a drink before the show. Gotta use the chef/bar training for something...

That or I might go crazy and take you skydiving or even for an afternoon of window shopping to see who can outlast whom? The most important part, no matter what we decide to do, is to talk, talk, talk.
