Hi, I'm a tall, slim, single Englishwoman living in South London.

Music is very important to me, I like rock and reggae mainly, and some classical.

I would like to meet someone who enjoys talking about life, the universe and everything,
and who shares some of my interests and maybe introduce me to some new ones.

My idea of fun is to drive into the countryside or down to the coast, find a nice spot for a picnic and then ramble about for a few hours, with binoculars and pocket guide to wild flowers, to work up an appetite for dinner at a nice country pub.
I would like to meet someone who would help me to give my walking boots more regular exercise, and it would also be good to share the driving to enable longer trips in my camper van.

I believe I am friendly, honest, trustworthy, loyal, kind-hearted, tolerant, loving, good company and a good listener.

I haven't had a TV for some time now. When the old one broke down I decided not to replace it immediately to see how I fared without it. Well, I find I really don't miss it all that much - it seemed to be wall-to-wall reality shows and soaps last time I looked anyway. I prefer listening to the radio. My favourite programmes are the Geoff Show on Absolute Radio (formerly Virgin Radio) and The Now Show on Radio 4.
I also listen to The Archers, so I am not completely immune to soaps!

I rarely drink. I do smoke but think about giving up - I just need an incentive!
I know I could because I gave up for 3 years in 2000 when my niece was born.

"Women's least favourite topics of conversation"! I saw this list for the first time while helping a friend with his email. I think that science fiction, science and history are great topics of conversation, though on a first date perhaps we shouldn't be discussing the likelihood of life on other planets or the mystery of the Princes in the Tower, lol!

I have a lousy internet connection, it often takes several attempts before I manage to send an email, trying at different times of day so, depending on how busy I am, sometimes it has been a day or two before I am able to get a good enough signal to post my reply. I do try to reply to all emails though so you should get some sort of reply eventually, lol.



PLEASE DON'T give me your telephone number in the first email. I will not be impressed with a man who randomly gives out his personal info to strange women on the internet, lol. I really worry about some of you!

First meeting: I suggest meeting in HMV or Virgin Megastore and then go for coffee - keep it simple. If that goes well, without too many awkward silences lol, we can then arrange a proper date.
