I am seeking a long term relationship, friend first, then we'll see what develops. This is the next chapter in my life's story, hopefully the best and richest. I have learned to take a better appreciation of my own life in recent years with greater respect for my health, to stay fit and trimmed down, and look for a match who believes and acts the same way. I like to keep fit by taking fast-paced walks, which also allows for my "get my head together time" and permits occassional indulgences in comfort foods without adding those extra pounds. It's never too late to live life more fully. Don't you think we get better as we get older? I do. Keep looking for the humor in everyday life because it helps to keep a sane tilt on this otherwise crazy world. Laughter will lighten up your day and maybe that of someone else.
I like to try new foods and dining places and am always curious about cooking and kitchens (it's part of my career too). I truly enjoy dining on the waterfront with live music playing. Like to listen to the oldies rock-n-roll(50's,60"s), slow dance music (Neville Bros., Elvis, the old classics), jazz, acoustical coffee house sounds, classical, some country hits and oldies.
My most recent passion has been riding a motorcycle. I love to ride for the unique experience of the sun and wind on my face and a relaxing feeling that comes from riding--I am not a hardcore biker. Eventually, I want to take day trips and longer distance rides. I look forward to riding the Loop in Ormond among other scenic destinations. It's one more item on my "bucket list".
My house is ruled by two rescue cats who command my attention(mostly to be fed). I love a good, friendly conversation over a meal, coffee, or a glass of wine. I know my way about a kitchen, can follow a recipe well, and love cooking for others.
