Cooking and playing in the kitchen with someone. Dancing close and feeling the breath of my partner on my neck. Redemption. Sharing. Good hugs. Spirituality. Good health. Discovery. Red wine. Sunrises. Hiking. Watching someone delight in the world around her. Rarely used words. Photography. The movie “Bolero”. Dreaming. Waking up next to someone. Blue skies. Sharp wit. Moments of Gestalt. The challenge of articulating often-wordless experiences. Traveling. Watching whales breech. Charm. The gentle, melodic, rich sound of a guitar. Bubble baths. But above all things: love.

What kind of woman would I like to meet? Grounded, authentic, nobody's fool, a woman with a fine mind, a good sense of humor, an easy laugh, a limitless curiosity about everything, and a great smile. And eyes that open a door into her soul.

A hike? A walk along the beach? Could be with or without dogs. A shared love of the outdoors would bring us together. Admiring scenery, lingering, breathing air, taking in skies and trees and rocks and life all around. Maybe a hot tea at the end to warm up while we try to figure out what to do next: dinner?
