OK, im 6'1 a bit on thick side, but not fat, I spend 6-8 hours a week in the gym, I am a volunteer firefighter and EMT. I'm a big guy but I keep in shape. I have a great job. I have a dog(he is my kid), a four year old Black Lab. I have a large extended family. I enjoy going to see plays and musicals as well as concerts and bands. I love football, played 10 years of it including 3 years semi pro. I love to travel and my job lets me do more than my fare share of it.

I Love the outdoors, there is nowhere I would rather be. I usually spend 1-3 weeks somewhere in the rocky Mountains hunting. There is just something about being far into the back country.I have never felt closer to god then when I see a morning sunrise above snow covered mountain peaks and hear a Bull elk Bugle from Golden colored Aspen groves below you on the hill side. It is so amazing, and humbling.

I really do enjoy children, but I don't have any of my own. I love being a firefighter. I think next to being outdoors the best place to be is inside a burning building, maybe for the same reasons. I guess it is hard to understand if you have never been there and done that. I also like the feeling I get from helping people out who are in trouble. To see the appreciation on someone's face when you show up to help when they are having an emergency is very rewarding.

The perfect woman? Boy I don't know. Someone who is adventurous who can get dressed up and be classy yet have just as much fun in sweater and pair of jeans. I would really like to meet someone who loves the outdoors. and would like to accompany me on some of my adventures. non smoker preferably. I don't mind someone who drinks But again I'm kind of out of the stage where I need to party every weekend. A definite must is Someone who doesn't play games. They were OK in high school but now it's the real world and we are adults. A sense of humor is great. someone who likes to work out and who enjoys sports. other than that I'm not super picky. well let's see, on a first date I usually let the girl decide. I Know what I like already, but I enjoy learning other aspects of culture. SO if she wants to do something that I have never done before that is a big turn on. Also someone who would maybe like to try some of the things I do would be great. The biggest thing is finding something to do that we are both comfortable and be ourselves with.
