I am interested in travel and enjoy the Florida lifestyle. I have lived in this area most of my adult life and I enjoy what N. Central Florida has to offer. The rest of the world rocks though, and I hope to see a lot of it with someone of similar interests before I shuffle off this mortal coil. I belong to a great outdoor social club and really enjoy the friends I have made through it. I have a home in Gainesville. I also have three cats who I adore. I love the mid-century modern style of furniture and housewares, and spend time thrifting and shopping for them. I love museums, esp. Musee Orsay in Paris and MOMA in NYC. If I travel to a major city I will surely visit the museums there. I like live music, especially jazz or alternative. I tend to listen to electronica or lounge music in my car. First dates are pretty weird and I hope to make it more pleasant with humor and something easy to do, like meet for a walk and a drink or lunch. First dates are a lot like interviewing for a job but fortunately your paycheck doesn't ride on it! A pleasant time should be had by all.
