As of today,Saturday, May 24,2008 I am launching operation “REACH OUT”.That’s right, every time you sign onto Plenty of Fish, I want you to REACH OUT and send at least one person an email saying “Hey, you seem like a nice person, just thought I would stop by and say hello, I hope you have a nice day”. Life is just to precious to let it slip by with out a simple hello. I am also launching operation “HATE SQUASHER”. Any where you find hate do your best to SQUASH it out,whether the hate is in your heart or someone you know, do your best to SQUASH it. Folks life is so precious, I believe we all need to do more for one another, and one of the best things I believe we can do is, “REACH OUT WITH RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS”. I am an easy going type of guy that doesn’t play games with a persons heart or mind, so if you are into playing games, or other nonsense,please pass me by.In short, keep it HONEST, keep it REAL, and most of all, be honest with yourself. On line dating can be a fun, and you just might meet the right person for you. Some people think that because they are setting at a computer that they can punch in what type of person they want, and BINGO!, they are gonna get it, WRONG!. Please remember this, behind every name there is a person, and people have feelings. Even though dating has come to this level of hi-tech computer dating, we still love the old fashion way, WITH OUR HEARTS. I would just advise you to be cautious, as there are some dishonest people out there. Also, don't get your hopes up or get too excited until after you actually meet someone. Don't take it too seriously, don't get too excited too early, be cautious, and have fun with it!

Now,lol, a little about myself.
I am 56 years of age, I really enjoy life. I have been divorced for about 15 years now, I live alone, and I don’t have any children. I do smoke, I am not going to try and justify smoking or defend it, it is a bad habit, but it is a habit that I have, I don't plan on giving up smoking my pipe. A few of my simple pleasures in life are,a good cup of coffee, a fine blend of pipe tobacco, a good bottle of wine, and the company of a lovely lady. I don’t do drugs, and don’t want to be around anyone that does. I like music, when I was younger I was a drummer in a rock band, music is a passion of mine. I like oldies rock, blues, jazz, just about any kind, except rap. I enjoy playing some of the computer games, and surfing the Internet. I like to write poetry and stories, I am not saying I am any good at it, but I try,lol. I do take a drink now and then, but seldom. Even though I do not have children I do enjoys kids, the sound of children laughing and playing is truly a gift to the world. I do miss not having that special lady in my life. The lady that I can walk hand in hand with, heart to heart with for the rest of my life. I enjoy doing little things for that special lady, sending her cards,leaving love notes where she will find them, bringing her flowers. Yes, I am a very romantic person. I enjoy setting at home and sharing a bottle of wine with a lady, and just talking. Well I guess I could go on about the things I like, but what I would really want to hear about is what you like. If I sound like the type of man you would like to take some time to get to know better drop me a line, I promise, I will respond.

I think a nice first date would be in a small, but private resturant, somewhere that we could talk and get to know a little about each other. We could have dinner, or just coffee and hopefully a good conversation. I would want the lady to know that she is in a safe place, with a nice man that respects her, and wants her to feel safe and relaxed. I hope she would feel comfortable and tell me about herself, what she likes, or dislikes. She could tell me about serious things in her life, or just silly things. Maybe her favorite color, her favorite movie, just whatever she feels comfortable talking about. I would hope we could laugh and have a great time, and just be oursleves, and if all goes right, that week she may recieve a dozen red roses from me with a card attached saying , WOW, YOU ARE A VERY SPECIAL LADY, HOPE WE CAN GET TOGETHER AGAIN SOON!.
