Why you should get to know me:

I'm easy-going, make friends effortlessly, use humour and look to seek an affectionate relationship while offering fulfillment and happiness. I'm helpful and adaptable where necessary. I do not drink, smoke or take drugs. I'm not really into sports unless you are, I'm very adaptable. I'm a one-woman man with strong values on family, children, women & friendship. I love children and people, especially elders. Being a good role model is important to me. I'm not into politics, power trips or head games. I love to travel, however not alone. I love photography, computers, gardening, dancing, skiing and life, listening to nature, birds, and being alive and appreciating that being with someone means giving oneself 100% to each other. Good strong communication and having the willingness to compromise are essential, as is having a well-balanced life. Sharing friends, family and sometimes having quality time alone & having a wellness plan are also important. A gentle smile opens the way to many hearts. I am employed full-time. I believe in spirituality & I will fully respect your beliefs & boundaries. I'd like to meet someone who has a few extra pounds, however not necessary. My goal is not to change anyone, it's to be with someone and together we can fill that void in our lives that will make us complete. Working towards trusting one another and living each day one-day-at-a-time are attainable goals. What have past relationships taught you?

That communication and spending time together and having quality time alone are important. Sometimes relationships come to an end, that the prayers you sent up have been answered and now it's time to move on. A good relationship must have a strong emotional foundation built on trust & the sharing of common interests. Also that sometimes disagreements are inevitable as it brings reality to the forefront, then for the relationship to grow, it's important to reach a compromise and to learn from the experience together. Making up can be fun. If your last relationship has left you with a scar, remember there is something beautiful about all scars of whatever nature. A scar means the hurt is over, the wound is closed and healed, done with. It is now time to move on, let the healing process begin... Let me be a part of your world, let us start a new journey together...

Describe some of the most important things in your life:

I enjoy being with people, laughing & using humour, travelling, & just living life to the fullest. Making sure that whomever you're with, you're compatible. Having the chemistry right from the start & respecting boundaries. Family & friends are very important, just as having a good wellness plan, my grandchildren are very close to my heart. Knowing your happiness is essential and in return I am happy, working towards finding what makes you tick is important to me, the relationship is my highest priority, for without it, there is no "us."

Describe your perfect day:

Waking up and knowing that everyday is a gift & taking each day one-day-at-a-time, while helping others & always keeping busy. In a relationship, it is important to spend quality time together and as the day unfolds, to attend to the daily activities of everyday life, whether it is school, work or play. Sometimes it's good just to relax and have a quiet day together & ponder why or what took us so long to find one another...

One final thing I'd like to mention...

I've travelled throughout the US & Canada, worked underground as an miner (long-hole driller & explosives handler), worked in housing construction, worked as a handyman, worked with plumbing & electrical. I was into politics as a Chief for 8 years and administrator for a few and I am a cartoonist. I enjoy meeting people and making new friends. I am down-to-earth & never think too highly of myself, that way when I fall, I don't have so far to be humbled. Besides my philosophy is; there are two ways to look at life and the world. We can see the good or the bad, the beautiful or the ugly. Both are there, and what we focus on and choose to see is what brings us feelings of joy or feelings of despair.

Now that you've read this far... What is the opposite of two? A lonely me, a lonely you. It doesn't have to be that way. Take a chance and email me, include a recent picture if you can. I'm not desperate & hopefully neither are you. I've been single for awhile now. Just to let you know, I've recently just landed a dreamjob and I work a lot of overtime. This trend will be the norm until I find someone, then my priorities will change to be with you & whomever else you want to share our circle of life. I shall answer all. I have submitted a few pictures, I'm with my granddaughter, she lives on the other side of the city & I don't get that much of a chance to spend quality time with her. They say that to the world you are one person, but to one person you are the world... So, just for today, she is my world. Also, I moved to Calgary on the day my grandson was born, now he demands his rightful place in my heart... What a happy little camper. Finally in my profile picture, I'm 35 lbs heavier, it was taken last year. I AM exactly as you see in all the pictures...

First let's meet & see if there is any chemistry, it doesn't matter if you are a little shy as long as you are open to communication.
