I am a self-employed speech therapist who works with children, mostly two year olds. I love my job because of how rewarding it is. I am also an aunt to a niece and two nephews who I totally adore. Lucky for me they live very close. While I love the snow (I'm originally from up north), I'm content with the southern weather where we dabble in all 4 seasons.... I played sports all my life (soccer/softball in the early years through HS and then soccer and lacrosse in college) and keep in shape by going to the gym. I don't play sports any more but attend them when I have someone to go with. I enjoy vacationing at the beach and curling up with a good book and a glass of wine. I'm looking for someone who shares in the same interests yet also broadens my own. Having children is definitely in my future so I would only like people who have that same desire to reply to my profile. Preferably I would like to meet someone locally because I have done the long distance thing before and much prefer being able to spend quality time with someone vs. traveling to see them...
Some things that I enjoy - milk chocolate (yum!), chocolate chip ice cream, red wine, air hockey (SO fun!), spending time with my niece and nephews, reading a good book, bubble baths, and hanging out on the beach at the end of the day...I'm sure there's a lot more but those are the ones that come to mind...

Wow, an ideal date? Someone who takes the reigns and thinks of something that I would enjoy based on prior conversations and doesn't try to overdo it but make it simple yet enjoyable. Somewhere where we could talk and get to know each other but not sitting in the dark at a movie...I enjoy good conversation and the outdoors...So hopefully it would be a combination of both based on the weather of course....!
