Hello Everyone. My name is Jeremy.
I am currently a full time student majoring somewhere between liberal arts and computer science. In reality I'm in the trial and error stage of what I may major in.
Up until about 2 years ago I was an active touring guitarist with a progressive/extreme metal band I formed in 2000. I've traveled the majority of the country and a little bit into Canada and Mexico. It was a blast! Some of the best days of my life. Those days are over so I attend college and worry more about making dinner for my son and getting him to his soccer games. I enjoy it but the slower pace has left me somewhat lonely I suppose.
My social circle has dwindled quite a bit. Which actually is nice and quiet. Silence definitely is golden sometimes...This coming from a hard rocking dude! More like, I'm a small town boy with good family values and am more conservative than I used to be. My goals now are to be a good father and to possibly become an elementary school teacher. My mother was a high school English teacher. So it's kinda in me. I absolutely love children. But with my son I am somewhat strict. Although I rarely ever scold him because thankfully we can talk pretty straight. With in reason...He is only 10.
The fact that I've traveled so much I've been single for about 4 years now. I'm looking for a long term relationship built on friendship, respect, trust and attraction. I am not a player and wouldn't do it if I knew how. I have never been married and at this point I guess I may never get married. But I like the idea of marriage. Although I do quite enjoy my personal time for my various hobbies.
I like a woman that can handle her liquor like a Lady and can still have a great time. I am not looking for spoiled brats, bi-polar, self-medicated, alcoholics, or snobby girls who think their sh*t doesn't stink. I am looking for a woman with a life of her own with some sort of hobby or at least something you enjoy doing on your own. I want to spend time with someone but I do not think it is healthy to spend every waking moment up each others asses. In other words control freaks and I do not get along well. I'm a grown man and know whats best for me. Want to know what most men want? We want to be with a woman that is cool enough to hang out with just as we would our buddies. But you must smell good and be pretty. Most of the time.
I happen to believe I am pretty close to the definition of a "Cancer man". I am very artistic and creative. I'm a realist and intellectual. I can also be a bit over passionate when I am really into someone or something. But I have learned when and where that is appropriate. Just look up cancers on any general horoscope sites and there ya go...me in a nut shell. I suppose somewhat nerdy. Oh well I'm okay with that.
I like going to the movies or kicking back at home with that special someone. I am not a couch potato and am not looking for one of those either. I work out at least 1-2 days a week at school and like to bike when the weather allows. I play guitar, bass, drums, and sing. And encourage my son to learn a musical instrument as well. Music soothes the savage beast they say. I still jam with a few friends and occasionally play gigs for fun or extra cash.
I am very open to trying new things with the exception jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Call me chicken...I'm okay with that.

FYI....I recently cut all my hair off after 20 years. My Momma says it makes me look younger and that I have a nice round head...Thanks Mom! I like it a lot and think I'll keep it awhile. I will post an updated picture eventually.
