I live in a Village just outside Sheffield called Dore. It has now become a suberb of sheffield but I live in the village part and love the village life. I love the fact that we all look out for and after each other. Theres a great community spirit and the pubs and restaurants in the village are not bad too!!!

I work in IT, but I also write quizzes for pubs and the quiz machines that you find in pubs. I'm not a geek honest! But I do know stuff!! I also work a few nights behind the bar in my local pub to keep me active in the evenings and I really enjoy this. I'm the oldest barman in the village LOL.

I'm a pretty friendly bloke that gets on with everyone, and makes people laugh. I love good conversation and am looking for someone that I can chat with for hours.

I don't live alone I share with Angus the Westie who is my best friend. We are always out about in the village and I think we know just about everybody.

I've had the beard for over 20 years, my mum can't remember what I look like without, but eventually I was talked into shaving it off. I look about 12 now. Seriously, people think i'm ten years younger. Its taking a bit of getting used to but people seem to like it better and kids are no longer scared of me!

Nice country pub, something to eat and drink and see how well we get on.
