Ok...the fine print first as I find many guys don't get to the end of these things...

"A few extra pounds", yes, but working on it. I lost 30 lbs this last year and looking to lose a little more, so I heading towards that "average" category...but apparently I am indeed below average if I lived in England.

Players and the unmotivated need not apply....uhm....oh, and no whiners...I get enough of those at work! :-P I like a fashionable guy so if baseball caps and t-shirts are your M.O., I don't think I'm your girl...not a slave to fashion but I like to make an effort, so I do expect the same from my man. Definitely HATE text-speak in emails and the "wanna chat" generic greetings. If your interested, show me!...not a hard thing really.

Now the real stuff...

I am sure the next few sentences will be full of cliches that will put someone to sleep, though the words are all true. I am an independent gal who knows how to take care of her own business, so no need for Sugar Daddies or guys who have a macho complex. But at the same time I want a man who knows who he is and has a real confidence about himself. He holds a door open for a girl not because he thinks he has to, but because he wants to. He's respectful but no pushover. He's strong but can be vulnerable. He likes to take command of the remote, but will pass it to me once in a while and not sulk if I insist on watching Ugly Betty. Yeah, I guess I am looking for that walking contradiction...probably because I have always been one myself.

Oh, and I should say I am not looking to have one long distance relationships...been there, done that, didn't even get a t-shirt...so please live in the Durham region and have a car.


OK, final thought - I always hear that guys want "a women in the streets and a freak in the sheets"...uhm, that goes both ways, right?...fair is fair...lol....well, ok, he would be "a man in the streets"...not a woman....not really looking for a cross-dresser...lol...did I mention I have an odd sense of humour.

Maybe go for drinks or coffee somewhere. Just talk and get to know eachother. Maybe a stroll along the waterfront....look at the ducks
