Hello and welcome!

I am an outgoing, active and fun guy that loves life. In my free time I enjoy the adventure of exploring and having fun outdoors via hiking, backpacking, canoeing and birding. I enjoy the challenge and reward of sports and the energy it gives you. I love to dance with friends and even alone to my favorite music. I like hosting or attending parties with games, cake, dancing and laughter. Normally I enjoy quite nights, with a nice home cooked meal, time to relax with a book, an evening walk, pondering my journey through life or thinking about my next adventure.

Being a biologist, I am very interested in the beauty of the natural world and value a simple and sustainable lifestyle. I enjoy being busy, but also like to spend time relaxing and developing a deeper understanding of my self and others who are close to me. I care about others, their feelings and needs, and enjoy making people feel happy and loved. My friends would describe me as down-to-earth, always on the go and sometimes out in left field.

I'm looking for someone who is happy, honest, energetic, caring, funny, smart, thoughtful, environmentally conscious, outgoing, alternative, cute, open and interested in experiencing life to its fullest. Having an appreciation and desire to explore the beauty of our natural world is important, along with an interest in having children and care of ones physical and mental well being. I am also interested in meeting someone who has unique interests and passions that they are willing to share with me.

I believe friendship is the foundation of a strong and lasting relationship, be it physical, mental or spiritual. A best friend and lover in one is what my heart desires.

Something causal to start, such as packing up some tea/coffee and a snack and going for a walk along a beach, a river or in a park and talking to get to know one another. Something outdoors and active is good for the heart, soul and mind. At a later time I may suggest making a nice meal at home and then going out for a night of dancing. Or going somewhere where you have never been before blindfolded.
