about me....
like most people i have a hard time talking about myself, it seems really narcassistic to sit here and list off reasons why you shuld be impressed with me, but i'll try anyway. Lets see, i'm 24 years old, born and raised in Toronto (living mostly in the west end of the city - although i'm truly at home downtown). I'm the product home and was raised mostly by my grandparents because my mother worked, my father was never in the picture (and please don't say your sorry to hear this - its one pet peeve of mine, other people have no reason to feel sorry, nor do i want them to feel sorry because given everything i know about who my father was i was more than better off without him). I'm very short, 5'2" to be exact, a little on the chubby side, i have grey eyes and naturally brown hair. I'm not one of those girls who is consumed by their appearance, i rarely wear make-up, i don't care about designer labels and i don't go on diets - i'm comfortable with what i look like, and while i may not be gorgeous i don't think i'm medusa either (your opinion may differ on that).
Currently i work beyond full time hours as a server at a chain restaurant in etobicoke (approximately 60-70 hrs a week), and more often than not i'm at work all weekend long. As a result i don't really have too much fun,but i still try on my days off to enjoy myself. Things that i enjoy include shopping (i think i enjoy it a little too much and could do with putting myself on a budget so i don't spend all my money) and i generally shop for unusual things like feather boas, satin pyjamas (so comfy), fedoras, converse shoes, beads (i'll get into that later) anything with skulls on it, etc. I also spend a lot of time listening to music and watching dvds. My hobby is jewellery making - i've recently decided to try and start a business selling items that i make and will hopefully have a booth at the december 2008 clothing show (look for Rox designs).
what i'm looking for:
i'm not very specific in what i like in a guy, i don't really have a type. Qualities i look for are sense of humour, sense of adventure, intelligence, love of good food (as i'm quite the big fan of good food and like to have company for dinner), passionate, and an all-around nice guy. i'm not overly concerned with appearances (other than being clean and relatively healthy, ie not morbidly obese - i have no problem with a guy having a bit of a beer gut) but i'm generally attracted to tattoos and piercings. i'm not concerned with income level, level of education (being university educated doesn't mean your intelligent) or whether or not he has a car. A bonus is someone who likes the same music and movies as i do, but sometimes its nice to meet someone with a different taste so that i can broaden my own tastes by being exposed to what someone else likes.
