Upbeat, minimal drama (only that which normal life deals out), outdoorsy, intelligent woman seeking a guy who is quirky normal. Seems to be hard to find, but, hope springs eternal.

If I'm watching TV, it is usually the series 'Criminal Minds', 'NCIS', 'CSI', the History channel, Sci-Fi, etc. or action movies...i.e. 'Hunt for Red October' is an example.

I'm seeing profiles of men who put up outdated photos, say they enjoy the outdoors and really don't, can't hold their own in even email/phone conversing and who seem to thrive on drama drama drama.

I've started doing some browsing of my own, rather than simply replying back to those who make first contact with me, and I am noticing where many guys in their late 40s and upwards in age are seeking women 25 yrs to around 50, at the outside. Trust this... with the onset of the web, you are in the midst of 'wishful thinking' if you honestly believe you will snag a younger woman. Unless you want to be used for your monetary assets and if that's the case, more power to ya.

Gonna be a lot of lonely older men ...starting... like... right now. And, that goes for the women who hold out for the 'younger dude'. Those who see themselves still looking as they did in high school are in for a rude awakening when they write and/or attempt to set up meetings with the 'younger' crowd. Loneliness will become the norm for those unrealistic in their quests. Doesn't mean we can't be 'young at heart'...but, don't expect the 'younger crowd' to think you are 'all that and a bag of chips'. Not going to happen.

I do have some opportunities to meet men other than online and I utilize this 'online' avenue as simply another source to hopefully come into contact with quality men.

Just being blunt, not...repeat..not..ego...just the facts... I'm considered pretty/cute for my age range and I am petite. 5'1" and weight is 107lbs. Am ready to find 'the one'... not interested in men who view the online avenue of contact as a candy store... always thinking something better will be in the next window. If that means meeting a hundred men to find one ... just one.. honest guy, I'll do it. That is not being 'a player'. It's a numbers game. Have to just stay focused and do the 'meet outs'.
