I would do something casual, such as go to a Starbucks for a coffee, which would allow us to get to know each other in a relaxed environment.
Another option would be to get together for a barbecue, during which we could share some food and drinks in an informal, relaxed setting. This sort of an arrangement requires a higher level of mutual interest and commitment than my first suggestion, but can work well.
Another option would be to spend a day at the beach.
