Hello to all, and to those who truly believe in enjoying life, not merely enduring it, I welcome you. Me? .. well, I'm just a guy who loves life, who really does cherish life's simple pleasures,and it would be terrific to meet the lady who would like to enjoy those pleasures with me. Travels to nowhere in particular, weekend getaways, hiking, history, music ( mainly jazz, blues, classic rock, big band and, yes, the symphony as well!!), backyard bbqs, picnics by the lake, sports, and sometimes, simply doing nothing whatsoever .. just chillin' and appreciating the moment, is time very well spent! With me, there are no games, no pretenses, no demands or expectations ... in essence, NO PRESSURE!! Merely two people walking the walk, getting to know one another, enjoying and sharing the moments with a mutual respect and open and honest communication that allows a trust to build, and everything else will take care of itself. I do believe in happy endings, and they come in all shapes and sizes .. but just as important for me is the happiness shared throughout the journey, and the wonderful memories that are just waiting to be made. Maybe we'll have the chance to make some of those memories together .. that would be really great!!


I did want to add that I am a pipe smoker, but answered "no" to the question in my profile. I did so because most who would see any other answer would assume cigarettes, which is not the case. I feel, however, that should you be interested in getting to know me, that this is something you have the right to know!!

A first date ... well, I would like to think that as long as she's relaxed, comfortable and at ease on our first date, then no matter what we're doing, it'll be good, so what we're doing is secondary to how we feel about the moment. Anything would be great with me at that point.
