Well, I am always at a loss when faced with this big white space to tell my life story in. I am much better with face to face communication. I am looking for a lady who will accept me for who I am and not think of me as a fixer-upper to be manipulated and molded. I am too old for most of what passes as dating type scenarios these days so I guess that is why I am on here. I am an old-fashioned romantic and I am very proud of that. I believe women should be treated a certain way and I am proud to be a gentleman. If you do not like a man opening your door or helping you with your coat, then I am not right for you and please continue your search. If, however, you like bubble baths drawn for you, a man who shares housework and shopping, a man who will let you relax while he does work, a man who will surprise you all the time with little romantic gestures, then I am the man for you. Hmmmmmmmmm..........the first date is crucial - first impressions are very impactful. I think a coffee shop or quiet bistro-type restaurant where you do not need to scream to talk to the person across from you would be a nice start. Maybe a walk in the park after that to continue the conversation and then a nightcap somewhere for some dessert and then returning you to your car or doorstep where a kiss on the hand would signal the end of that date and hopefully the beginning of many more with you.
