I remember the first time you came into my life/
One look at your eyes I know I want you to be my wife/
I remember the first time we talked; you thought I wasn’t your type/
But in my mind, body and soul, we couldhad made this friendship go to the next step andmake it right/
I remember the first time we held hands; it was like a burning sensation/
But to me it was like our flame was burning more to show our affection/
I remember the time I was gone for months without talking, writing, or even seeing you/All I thought up there, is how I can make you like me more but I didn’t have a clue/I Remember the time that we talked about our friendship had a color/
I have to say yellow too, because our bond is bright, shines, dazzling, and standout like no other/
I remember the time I wanted to write something like this, but I was afraid of what you were going to say/
But now these days I trust in my heart and just let you light up my day/
