I would describe myself as strong, stubborn, silly, sassy, and sometimes even sexy! ;) I love life, and plan on making mine the best that it can possibly be. I am looking to involve a special someone in that process, if they are willing to go along for the ride! I would love to find someone that wants to know the real me, and isn't scared of some of the little quirks that I have (are you scared yet?).

I love it when someone smiles at me, so that I can even see it light up their eyes. I need someone who can make me laugh, spend quiet evenings with a mix of fun times on the town, and hold intellectual conversations that may even get a little bit heated at times (not fighting, but I don't want to be afraid to share my opinions!).

My ideal mate is someone who is HONEST, faithful, optimistic, and ambitious. He would be someone who wants to get up in the morning and get started on whatever amazing things are in store, instead of sleeping half the day away. However, if the situation allows, a day in bed with movies can be fun too! It's hard to say exactly what "type" of person I'm looking for...I tend to believe that chemistry is key, and includes physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual components.

I've learned that it is always better to develop a friendship, enjoy that chemistry for a bit, and let things build steadily. I used to believe in "love at first sight", and may still...but I think people often confuse sexual energy with love that early on, and then it doesn't last. I think it's best to take the time to really date...I know there are people out there that understand this concept!

I enjoy amusement parks, the beach, parks, and cookouts with friends during the summertime. I will admit, I prefer staying at home during the winter months, cooking an intimate dinner at home and curling up with a movie and a glass of wine. I like a variety of music, although I don't identify with rap at all (sounds like noise to me!). My friends and family are very important to me, and I appreciate people who feel the same way about theirs.
