A little about myself...
I'm an apprentice cook and love what I do, even if it gets a bit stressful from time to time. I can work really long hours some days, and generally work pretty late too.

I have a very curious and creative mind. I've worked as a sculptor and special effects technician in film for a short while. I love the outdoors and the simple things in life, but that doesn't mean I'm simple. har har
I like to bike a lot and plan to cycle across this great country of ours, mostly for fun but I do have other reasons that can be discussed later. After Canada who knows where I'll go next for an adventure, but I'm going to make it a culinary tour of sorts too (at least thats the idea for the time being). Yay adventures and food!
I enjoy all kinds of music but nothing beats a good live show. Radiohead, the White Stripes, Audioslave, Greenday and Bjork are some of the best live acts I've seen and can't wait to see more. I can't say I'm really into country or any of the top 40 pop (regardless of the genre). I like music, lyrics, real compositions, something with talent behind it.
I'm not sure what I'd do without my ipod.
Some Favourites: Primus, Audioslave, Radiohead, Bjork, the White Stripes, the Raconteurs, Blackalicious, Atmosphere, Xavier Rudd, the John Butler Trio, Yann Tiersen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metric, Incubus, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and of course, the Beatles to name a few...
I don't watch much TV, haven't in years. But I do have a soft spot for a lot of shows on the Food network (didn't see that coming I bet), Californication, Top Gear, two and a half men, and of course the classics like Sienfeld and Frasier.

Basically, I'm still pretty new to Guelph and don't know too many people yet, work keeps me busy and out of sync with most of society, perhaps to its benefit, but there's always time for fun and games. I'm just looking for people to hang out with, we'll see where things go - no expectations.

I've been craving a good walk lately.
