I like long walks, trail hikes, and traveling in general. Short or long trips. I'd just like to meet a nice lady that enjoys the simple things in life and values spending time together more than material things. Someone with similar interests or at least an open mind and adventurous spirit. I’m always open to trying new things. I’d like to try sky diving, Para sailing and want to get scuba certified to name a few things. I'm an old school gentleman when it comes to dinner or a movie but when it comes to shared travel I figure it's an adventure for both and each should pay their own way. I know I lost the opportunity to meet some really nice women with that last sentence but it’s best to have understandings from the start.

I think a first date should be kept very short. I would think before you meet someone you would have already gotten to know them by online chatting or phone visits. The first date would just be a chance to see if there is a physical attraction as well. I think it should be agreed to keep it short with no pressure or expectations. If things feel right then you can plan something you both agree on later.
