I am notorious for my style of humor---which was necessary this past year as pres of a church of 2000 members in keeping everybody happy (especially the blue haired angels----could someone tell me why ladies over 70 think blue hair is natural---is that to compete with guys who get black rugs to match the gray hairs in their ears?).

I like all outdoor activities---when its warm out that is(where is global warming this past winter??). Activities such as golf (people who park too close to the course dont like me and it is only a rumor I have a weedeater in my golf bag). I am notorious in striking a conversation with anybody---I have been known to spend an hour at Walmart to do a five minute errand(you know you are getting old when Walmart is your social scene instead of the bars).

Other activities I enjoy include dancing (it is only a rumor that I am clumsy enough to trip over cracks in linoleum) and anything else that would not require a signed waiver for my insurance policy. It will take a lot of convincing for me to do karoke ---last time I sang in church offering dropped 30%. If you look at my occupation and freak out--dont worry I am in good financial shape and for the right person I WILL choose the lady over the land....

Someone asked me ---What really IS a nice guy?? A nice guy is one that will listen to you for a couple hours on the phone when you need someone to talk to about your good or bad day. He will be the one who will give you or your friends a ride home if you have had to much to drink. He will help you with those household chores without being asked, will offer a shoulder to lean on, or give you a honest reassuring compliment when you need and deserve it. He will hold doors open for you and most importantly will play by the rules even where it may be the cheaters who will win. He will be courteous, chivalrious, complementary, and honest. And he will be there for you in good and bad times.

If you have read this entire profile and have not yet fell asleep congratulations!! You have won an all expense paid vacation trip to Mexico or the Bahamas----numerous restrictions apply. (I had to put in that last line because everybody says all people do is look at the pics, occupation, and address and wanted to see if that was true).

The first date is always about finding out about each other---whether a luncheon date or picnic or just a friendly conversation at a comfortable setting....(if needed will forward three references, letter from pastor, and current bank statement)
