In an effort to be completely honest, I must tell you that I am not 48, I am actually 51. The site will not allow me to "fix" my age. When I signed up I dropped a few years off - but realize that is an unfair representation of who I am.

Aside from my nearly grown kids, my work is my passion, but I always make time for the man in my life. I work in television and I am blessed with a job that allows me to see the world, meet all kinds of wonderful people and tell their stories.

I enjoy reading, swimming, water sports, horseback riding, I LOVE all kinds of music and especially old skool R & B. I like to travel, I love movies, writing, cooking, being creative, weekend warrior projects, drives up the coast, parties/gatherings, big and small, I love meeting a friend for coffee or a drink just to connect with those I hold dear, and I also like alone time to reflect, meditate, connect spiritually and to recharge my creative juices.

I don't rely on others to make me happy. I am blessed with a solid spiritual self, a bountiful assortment of good relationships and friendships, and best of all -- I like myself. I tend to be fairly trusting once I get to know someone -- and smothering is not my style.

That's about it. I am looking for passion and romance. I want someone who is as excited about spending time with me as I am about spending time with them.
