I like to think I have a full life. I like to golf, play cards, ski, sail, and share adventures. I like a musical variety from Blues, Big Bands, Jazz, Rock 'n Roll and some Country and a little classical. I have been here for 38 years, time flies... etc., and have tried not to get too rooted in the local attractions. I usually take a couple of trips a year somewhere to ski or beach or play something. I keep flirting with retirement but what good is all that free time without someone to share it? Anyway, my current schedule gives me a ridiculuous amount of flexibility, so I can be ready to go on short notice.

I'm basically an explorer - cities, rivers, islands, historic venues, the mountains, puzzles, the mystery of life. I am an outgoing, interesting, smart and sincere person (so I'm told by well meaning friends). Over the years I have become a better listener and friend. Is there someone out there to laugh with, cuddle with, and share life's adventures, whatever they may be, and always be there for each other?
My path through life has had some twists and turns, but I have been constantly evolving, gaining from all I meet and hopefully growing in the process. Still something of a work in progress, but I feel like I'm getting there!


I have been a problem solver most of my working career and have found that a good sense of humor can get you through many rough spots. I have traveled between San Francisco and Ephesus, Vancouver and Caracas and there's still a lot out there to see. It is very likely that I am the living definition of a Gemini, for better or for worse.

I enjoy most foods - never ate a soft shell crab, don't intend to. There's nothing like a dinner party with friends or for that matter a friend. I have found that some of the best times have their origins in relatively simple pasttimes. I enjoy a good glass of wine or a cold beer on a hot day. I count myself fortunate to have a great many friends and successful children.

Today I wish you a day of ordinary miracles ~ A fresh pot of coffee you didn't make yourself...An unexpected phone call from an old friend...Green stoplights on your way to work...The fastest line at the grocery store...A good sing-along song on the radio...Your keys found right where you left them.

Like the universe, the quality of our experiences is continually expanding and contracting. Some days are just better than others! Meeting someone whose values are similar to mine and enjoys some of the same activities as I would indeed be icing on the cake.

It's not a date - more like an encounter or better yet a rendezvous! Meet for coffee, drinks, golf, a picnic or a walk in a park. The date comes after we thick we click - that chemistry thing.
