I work hard and I play hard. I love my family and friends. Most of my family lives far away but I try to see them as much as possible. I have wonderful friends who I can count on for anything. My job is very important to me as it provides me with intellectual fulfillment and confidence in my abilities. I work with some wicked smart people who I respect both as colleagues and as friends. I love to watch sports (especially football) and enjoy hanging out with others whether it be at someone's house, camping, at a bar, etc.

I would like find a guy who is fun and shares some of my interests but also potentially introduces me to new things. I'm looking for someone who challenges me. I'm pretty liberal and would like someone who is more on the liberal side as well. Football enthusiast is definitely a plus.

All that aside, I think that there is no template that I have for the guy I'm meant to be with. I just want someone who gets me and I get him in return.

Wow - there are so many options for a first date. I think there are 2 styles of dates that would be ideal for me. The first would be the typical nice dinner at a good restaurant in the city followed by drinks if the date is going well. The second would be brunch on Sunday (maybe a mimosa or 2) followed by football watching at a sports bar.
