Hi, thanks for taking the time to read about me. My ultimate hope is to find my soulmate. I don't know what the chances are of finding her here but since I don't do the bar scene, there aren't a whole lot of other options. I consider myself to be kind, compassionate, considerate and caring and am seeking the same in a mate. I'm an animal lover(not in the literal sense but that's not unheard of around here)I especially love birds and have a couple that I share the house with. I also love motorcycles. I'm definitely a do-it-yourselfer and usually have some kind of project going on. I love the summer and spend most of my time outside gardening, working in the yard, bicycling or whatever as long as it's outside. The winter is another story, don't have much tolerance for the cold weather. There are so many other things I'd like to try like horseback riding or perhaps learning to dance but these are things that I think would be better shared. I'm into a pretty healthy lifestyle, am pretty close to being a vegetarian but still enjoy a burger now and then. I work out often, not that I enjoy it but I like the way it makes me feel. I'm not much of a sports nut or a nascar fan, I also don't hunt but might be persuaded to go fishing.
I have a job that I love and feel pretty lucky to have. I'm more the "glass half full" type I suppose. I have an off beat sense of humor, like "family guy" and "Monty python" and think George Carlin was a genius.
I'm seeking someone that shares some of the same interests that I do but has enough different ones to keep things interesting. I dream of finding that one special woman and the fairy tale romance but it's been so long since I've felt that "magic" or "spark" when I kissed someone that I'm beginning to wonder if it ever really existed. I hate the thought of winding up as one of those "eccentric bachelors".....you know the kind, live in a beat up trailer with 30 cats.
I'm not looking for someone to change my life as I'm pretty happy with it the way it is except for the lonely parts of course. I'm not looking to take care of someone nor do I want someone to take care of me. I want someone special in my life, I don't "need" someone. I too, would much rather be wanted than needed. I totally understand that there has to be a physical attraction, if it's not there for you, that's cool and in turn, if it's not there for me, I hope you will understand. Having said that, I feel like it's pretty important that we have the ability to be best friends also. I guess that ultimately I'm seeking love, as are we all I suppose but love based on trust, friendship, passion and more. I can't really tell you what physical attributes I like in a woman, it's more an "I know it when I see it" proposition. I'm not a "boob guy" or a "leg man".....I don't quite know how to put it but I like the whole package....or not. It's way more important what's on the inside than what's on the outside.
Well, if you've made it this far, you deserve a gold star!...at least you didn't fall asleep. So if you find any of this a little intriguing and you don't think I'm too too hard to look at in my pix (which are current by the way) then you should perhaps consider writing me. What's the worst that could happen?...we don't hit it off? but maybe, just maybe we'll find that "magic" after all....one never knows.

A first date should probably be a relatively short one, perhaps meet for coffee and if there seems to be chemistry, go from there....dinner, a movie and sky diving.
