This is just a lark but if we're going to play in this pond, tell me 1st that you CAN live up to your profile :)
I'd ultimately like to meet a truly honest and spontaneous man with a youthful disposition. Ideally he isn't too slight and somewhat fit of mind and body. He should be healthy, relatively intelligent, can 'walk
and chew gum at the same time' and especially ~ he should like himself.
...and oh yes, he should love animals, especially dogs. (Sorry to say that I'm allergic to cats)
I enjoy all kinds of music really - anything from Classical to classic rock; from Gregorian chants to Pavlo's flamenco guitar; from John Mayer to Chris Isaak; from the sublime to the ridiculous?
Yet I've also learned that what 'they' say really
is true, that sometimes those silent moments really
are golden.
I'm a passionate woman of German descent that while diplomatic, prefers to tell it as it is but is non-confrontational (as kindness is important to me); am always looking to learn new things; a student of life that chooses 'how' over 'cannot'; tend to smile more often than not and enjoy going for long drives for a chance to drink in that clean smell of the north, evergreens and campfires...
But hey, we can't have it all so I try to make the best of the city since I'm here most of the time.
I prefer sandals, jeans and a t-shirt but can be equally comfortable in basic black and pearls. In my daily routine, I tend to keep it natural but in the long run, am not a total stranger to feminine glamour either.
Am stimulated by the chance to speak with people of all ages and walks of life through my work (& life's experiences) and can adapt well in most any given situation.
I love to dine out every so often, especially with the variety of offerings in this multi-cultural city! ...mostly foods that I wouldn't otherwise cook at home.
Although, there isn't much I can't cook; my formal training and original trade (for 17 years!) was chef de cuisine.
My first approach to most things in life is to be positive - injecting a little humour into what might otherwise be a bad situation. This sometimes gets me into trouble but hey, isn't life too short to get uptight about the little things!?
I generally wake up in the morning with a smile on my face in anticipation of a new day...
a blue sky and sunshine can really set my pace!
That being said, negative fishies should find another fishing hole
*Friends first would suit me to a 'T' but am ultimately looking for long-term*
Among my life list is to:
*go skydiving
*'copter over the Amazon
*experience the parks of Tanzania
*cycle through Patagonia
*retire in a log house by the water
*learn to write shorter profiles
*write a book

...am also realistic enough to know that I MAY only get to realize some of these through the books I read.
Would be open to suggestions but would likely consider a casual 'meet n greet' for our first encounter.
