I'm just a plain old fashioned guy who believes in honesty and respect. I treat other people the way I expect to be treated. I need to share my emotions and feelings openly and expect the same.I'm not here to deceive anybody or to lie.... I just want to find an honest caring woman to enjoy lifes adventures with. I have a great sense of humour and put that at the top of my list... Yes I have a list.... Want to know more... just ask....Oh.. and I like ROAD TRIPS!

I have an excellent career that I love (well, not all the time... but I could do a lot worse).
My job affords me quite a bit of time off (I only have to work about 120 days a year) which gives me a lot of time to explore my adventurous side.

In my spare time I enjoy doing wildlife/nature photography and I travel a lot to do so. I've never been on an airplane but I'm going to have to overcome my fear of flying since next year I plan on going to Africa and Australia, and I haven't been able to locate a bridge to drive there. If they build one by next year... I'll be driving. Once I get the flying thing over with, I plan on doing it as often as I can (since I know damn well nobody's gonna build my bridges).
I also enjoy hiking, camping, mountainbiking and just about anything to do with outdoors and nature.
I love all animals and will do just about anything to get their pictures. I've been known to sneak up on bears in tall grass (ya don't want to try that unless you're really, really sure the wind isn't going to change direction... trust me... NOT FUN!)
I also enjoy country drives with no particular destination but that's because I'm a guy and get lost easily.
I like wine tours, waterfalls (I know... not very manly.. but I like them),beaches and just about anything else, including a woman that knows how to get me unlost on my country drives, although unlike most guys,I will stop and ask for directions but not until the gas guage gets near empty.
I like doing home reno's, stained glass (again... not manly.. but I enjoy it) and I even like doing gardening...
as long as I know that I'm digging for something (gold would be nice)

My kids are grown up and I have no baggage (seems to be highly requested feature) but I may have to buy a suitcase or two once I start flying.

My Dad passed away recently and my Mom is having a hard time with it, therefore I sold my house and am staying with her till she gets back on her feet.. or springtime (whichever comes first). It's really not as bad as it sounds
and I highly recomend it to anyone who has the chance (and... no...I'm not living in my parents basement). It's really an awsome feeling, but if you have an issue with my current living accomodations, i'm sorry but there is no point in you contacting me since I probably won't be
looking to buy my own home again till springtime. She raised me when I was young and needed help, so the least I can do is volunteer a few months of my adult life to help her out.

Well..... we could sneak up on bears.. or chase 1200 pound moose.... find a really, really long bridge and drive to Australia... or we could just do something we both agree on.
