The first thing you should know about me is that I'm from Iowa, so please excuse my backward country ways (like being a gentleman and listening to some country music). Second, I tend to listen to a wide variety of music so there are a lot of "interesting" songs that tend to cross my playlist. Next, I can talk fast and talk a lot, but if you can keep up I'm also a great listener. I'll use any excuse to throw a party (birthdays are always a good reason). Finally, I'm a terrible liar (honesty really is the best policy).

The things that tend to occupy the majority of my time are hanging out with friends, walking the dog, reading my books, my various building projects (I like to make things with my own two hands) and of course, Work. I was lucky enough to find a great job (Aerospace/Software Engineer) straight out of college (go Iowa State!) so I actually enjoy going to work every day (the people are great and the job is fun).

The things I really live for though are Snow Skiing and Water Skiing (tends to be the reason for most vacations I take). I also like to travel (I did study abroad in Europe for a year) and roadtrips are the best! And of course anything outdoors like camping, rafting, biking, or just sittin a reading a book outside.

The only things that I'm specifically looking for in a relationship is someone who is optimistic and happy. The rest is just icing on the cake. I'm always interested in making some new friends and you never know what friendship can lead to, so send me a message, I'd like to hear from you.

A first date has to have a lot of conversation, there's so much to learn. But other than that, I'm up for anything. Something that's new for both of us would make it more memorable...
