I'm a 6-year Navy veteran and Sinclair student looking for a long-term relationship. I'm a cadet in Wright State University's AFROTC Detachment, and I plan to transfer there full-time next year to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering along with an Air Force officer commission.

I drive a white 1998 Toyota Corolla with over 196,000 miles that still gets 30+ mpg.

I am a self-described sci-fi geek, which includes con-going and costuming, but ladies, please try not to hold that against me. I'm an autograph hound, and have collected almost 2 dozen since I started three years ago. I'm a history buff with a focus on American history, but I also know a few interesting tidbits about the Romans, Greeks, and Ancient Egyptians.

I like to sing, and got behind the karaoke mic a few times on the ship. My specialties are Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, and country. I'm a certified scuba diver, but sold all my gear when I moved back to Ohio. I like to fly, and hope to get my pilot's license one day.

I'm looking for an intelligent, attractive woman who will accept me as I am, faults and all. I'd like someone I can have a real conversation with, but is also willing to just sit in silence once in a while. I love kids and hope to have some of my own someday.

I've been halfway around the world during my time in the Navy, and I would be happy to tell anyone about my travels. I love to travel and hope to do more after I finish college. Countries I've visited include Croatia, Spain, Bahrain, and Seychelles. I hope to be stationed in Europe, preferably Britain, for at least one tour of duty after I'm commissioned.

I watch CSI, CSI Miami, NCIS, Smallville, The Mentalist, Warehouse 13, Sanctuary, Eureka, Numb3rs, Psych, Monk, Doctor Who, Burn Notice, Mythbusters, and Dirty Jobs.

My sci-fi fandom covers Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Stargate, Smallville, and Sanctuary. One of my goals is to build my own TARDIS from Doctor Who.

I'm not much for clubs or crowds and prefer to socialize in small groups. Sometimes I like to just go off and sit alone for a while and clear my head, so whoever I end up with will hopefully respect my occasional need for solitude.

I'm slowly trying to get rid of the spare tire I've developed since leaving active duty.

Update: The weight loss has begun... 25 lbs down, 35 to go... goal, 180.

All you ladies who are into fitness, I challenge you to help me stay motivated... I would also appreciate having someone to work out/run with when I'm not doing so with the Cadet Wing.

For a first date I'd like go for coffee or dinner (nothing too fancy or expensive), then maybe see a movie if we want to. Mini-golf or bowling is also an option. COSI in Columbus or Boonshoft in Dayton would also be fun. If in the Cincinnati area, Newport Aquarium or The Cincinnati Museum Center. I'd even be willing to go to a Reds or Dragons game.
