A little about me:

I am pretty easy-going and have a great sense of humor. I have a college education and a professional career. I am quite secure about who I am as well as secure financially, etc...but the one thing missing is a great relationship with someone who I can love and trust and share life adventures with...not to mention cuddle with on cold nights...or warm nights....the weather doesn't really matter - lol :) The problem is - I'm not in school anymore, I work from home, and most of my nights out are low-key nights out with the girls....so meeting people is my issue- hence this profile :)

I love a good conversation ranging from current events, politics, investments, and various philosophical topics, but I am also happy discussing the last episode of American Idol or challenging someone to a 70's or 80's TV Theme Song throwdown. :) I am passionate about learning new things and travel. I love to read and take classes to continue the learning process. I am looking for a partner who has ambition and a passion for something, whatever it might be. I am hoping to meet someone with a great sense of humor who is able to see the lighter side of things more often than being stressed out about a passing unpleasant circumstance(a.k.a - someone who is as "drama free" as I am!). I also am looking for someone who likes to travel and enjoys expanding their horizons as much as I do.

As for other interests: I love music (all kinds - my Ipod definitely has an identity complex - Rock, R&B, Metal, Rap, Country, Classical, Oldies, Pop, Showtunes...I have it all), movies, TV (LOST, Modern Family, South Park, The Soup), reading (I am a Harry Potter fan! but mostly educational reading with some fiction thrown in occassionally), working out, hiking, boating, hitting some balls at the driving range, exploring new restaurants and hang outs in the area, BBQ'ing at home, baking a mean batch of cupcakes or cookies (my friends often ask me to open a bakery), going to Durham Bulls games, playing my Nintendo Wii (Guitar Hero is by far my favorite!)and various arts and crafts when the creative mood hits me.

I work in the software industry in sales and development and work from home with occassional travel (both domestic and international).

ps - the last picture is of me and Muhammad Ali. Met him at an airport a couple years back - one of the coolest and nicest people I've ever met.

I prefer a casual first meeting for a drink or dinner to get to talk and know someone better. Once I hit it off with someone then I prefer movies, concerts, sporting events, hiking, checking out cool restaurants, and doing fun things like bowling or minature golf or an arcade - I love the car racing games!
