I would like to find an athletic, active woman. But that is not a requirement. I would be happy with a woman who is considerate, pleasant, low-maintenance, supportive and reliable.

It would be nice to meet someone with common interests and a similar outlook on life. I think that's the reason I am trying this website. It looks like a timesaver in searching for a match.

I do want to someone free to travel. I haven't done much in recent years and want to see the world.

I have a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s in journalism and a secure government job. I think my strengths are that I am a dependable and loyal. I like to exercise and belong to an athletic club where I swim and work out on a lifecycle. I play tennis regularly and enjoy both playing and watching most sports. Other interests are movies, the beach, music, amusement parks and travel. My match, though, doesn't have to have the exactly the same interests. It is fun to experience new activities and ideas.

I've got a lot of frequent flier miles and am just waiting to find a travel companion.

I enjoy a first date where we would go to an amusement park or sporting event and have fun while we talk and get to know each other. I think most women, though, would rather meet at a coffee shop and talk. I would hope to convince them to meet in a park for a better ambience. But I do want to make them feel comfortable so I am open to their ideas.
