How about some point-form bits about me...

* I'd love to meet a girl who sometimes thinks she's an airplane (if this confuses you, ask for the story).
* Sometimes I'll view a profile and NOT send a message. It doesn't mean I hate you. lol.
* Always trying to better myself by learning new things... this winter, I'd like to be able to skate properly. lol.
* I'm down to earth. You know why? Gravity.
* I set my incoming first contact at 50+ characters because "hi" doesn't give me much to go on.. c'mon, 50 characters is like 12 words!
* I'm in a band. But I'm not a delusional idiot who thinks being in a band is the answer to financial success. Hence the real job.
* I'm not a cowboy. I'm a former BC boy.
* I adore women who are interesting to talk to...
* If you don't reply, I lose no sleep. There's "other fish in the sea."
* I love to travel by car, plane, boat, whatever!
* You don't have to dress up to impress me, but there's always a time and a place right?
* Respect for others - are we still doing this? I hope so.
* Speaking of respect, thanks to a few select women on here over the past 4 years, I have learned to be less optimistic. Mind-gamers/those who lead people on will be quickly shut down.
* I'm "single mom" friendly, but single moms have typically proven to be uninterested in me. There's no explanation for it. Prove me wrong.
* I don't care for girls who are pushy.
* I'm open-minded.
* I'm an only child. Either my parents got it right the first time, or they said "good god, we'd better stop now before we're doomed."
* I have no patience for people who feel the need to make up stories about other people. Unfounded gossip kind of annoys me.
* If I bring up some sort of obscure topic, I hope you can go with it - or at least not appear to have sustained a brain aneurysm.

If I don't reply, don't take it personally. I will say though, that I prefer someone whose grammar is mostly intact (but I'm not a jerk about it). It shows that you care about how you present yourself socially, in communicating with me and others. No one's perfect though, so keep that in mind.

(A teacher once told me, "practice makes perfect." But she also once said "no one is perfect." So I stopped practicing)

I always end up being in a group situation. Tell you what, contact me and we'll see what we want to do. I've always got some half decent ideas... How about skating?
