Quite some time ago,when I was first starting into one of my present addictions, (flyfishing for steelead in BC rivers), a wise old fisherman gave me some sage advice that I have decided to try and take heed while here.

So away we go,,,,,This profile thingy does not seem to work so well,,,,especially when ya decide to write/type things that most don't seem to understand or just not want to read. I am at an age when I can understand that all people have views and beliefs because of past experinces. In saying that,,,,,I am not closing the door on the potential of "new" experinces,,,,even with the beliefs that I have today.

I would also have to assume that there are women out there that are strong enough,,,,,mentally,physically,intellectally to leave doors open long enough to experince things that are "new" or uncomfortable to them. Yet,,,finding that isn't the case. Maybe I'm the one meeting the wrong type????

Therefore,,,,,,stating here that I "wish" to meet someone that has enough confidence in oneself to be able to wade into waters that they have never entered. Wishing for openminded instead of closed. Sensual,,,instead of just sexual(there is a difference). A leader,,,instead of a follower. A thinker,,,,and with that someone able to be opinionated without the ignorance that shuts out potential for change.

I ask,,,before you decide to make an assumption,,,,,on what I have chosen for "what I am looking for",,, I will go through the choices that have been offered me.

- hangout,,,,yeps,,,,, I do wanna hang out with the right woman

- talk/e-mail,,,,ummm,,, I would hope we would be talking,communicating

- longterm,,,,hopefully,but,,,if not,,,,time well spent??

- dating,,,again,,,,I would hope so

- friends,,,we better be

- intimate encouter,,,,,a must,,this I must say

- activity partner,,,, I do love the outdoors ;)


I have been told that my expectations of others is high. I suggest it's better than having "low" expectations,,,,no????? I believe in questioning,,,,that is,,,with respect and intelligence. I will not ever jump off the bridge "just because" someone says so. In saying that,,,I also question advice from some to "consume" for the sake of pulling out of a recession. Are not where we are because of our overindulgence??????

I'm a believer of the earth supplying us with resources to use,,,not abuse. I'm as guilty as the next person,,,but I do try to keep my footprint to a minimum. I was born on "Earth Day" longggggggg before it ever was called that. People that know me find that quite ironic. I'm not a tree hugger in the sense that I understand that we can (and do) use things,,,,I just don't accept frivolous abuse/overuse. I also have an understanding of "true" needs. Do you?????

Oh,,,it would be pretty neat if you enjoy Christmas (not the materialistic crap),,,love children (thou mine is older,,I'm still involved with others'),,,and knows how to ride the bumps of life without throwing up or bailing out.

I would have to assume that would be up to a mutual accord now wouldn't it???

Oh,,,,if you want to be one of the maroons that comes up with an assumption because of whom I decide to accept e-mails from,,,,,do notice that I accept from both genders. Now,,,won't that get some of you thinking???? I did say,,,,,some.
