I like people seeking to evolve, not afraid to talk and communicate honestly. Whether it's family or friends, you are a social being who can also live with yourself. I hope you have a sense of adventure (doesn't have to extreme sports, but please be reasonably fit). I like people who set personal objectives and strive to live their lives accordingly. Life-long learning is important to me. Do you pay attention to your dreams, and want to go deeper to understand our place and time in this amazing world? I care about the environment and the need to raise public conciousness about making small differences. I like people who respect themselves and others as unique beings - this does not mean you have to agree or become friends. How about just plain having fun? Go on laugh! Sure hope you have a sense of humour. I lean towards people who believe in the creative impulse and accept it is a vital part of the human condition. This means the power of natural beauty, music or other artistic expression can stir and inspire your soul. I believe that magic and mystery is part of our life on earth but cannot offer any concrete evidence about that. I want the best for the people I love and I care about others. I want to do and be my best, physically, emotionally and mentally and value that quality in my friends. I like thoughtful, intelligent and articulate people, not too shy, but not too loud. Above all I believe in the power of positive energy and strive to tap and share that with others in my life. Above all don't quit too easily when you care a lot. Be patient and gentle with yourself and others.

Having a coffee or tea sounds banal, but that could be ok as a first meeting. Combined with walking (not around cars). I am into the arts and music and quite honestly would probably love to see a concert, dance or theatre production. I'd also enjoy sharing views on it afterwards, too. My tastes are varied - as long as it's good / ie well executed -- traditional, classic or contemporary genre. (realise this can be very subjective) I like most jazz, and find that milieu can be a pretty comfortable venue for hanging/talking -- if it's not too loud and too dark. Movies are ok, as long as we can chat later.
