Let me start out by saying I personally don't care for online dating. And this site has'nt changed my opinion much. Its more like "Plenty Of Flakes".(Oh, and I don't just mean the guys) However I'm sure there has to be a few people out there like me with similar interests and dating mindsets, that would love to get together and have a great time!

I Love World history, Art, Classic literature and Non-Fiction (mainly history and reference.)I enjoy drawing, and am reasonably well traveled. (I have a passport!) Don't let any of that be off putting...I am very much a people person with an electric personality and enjoy a wide variety of conversation.I have a wild sense of humour, which ranges from dark to crazy. You MUST love to laugh!

My idea of a great time can be anything from a night at the Opera (Marx Brothers or otherwise!) to something as basic as us going to a great sports bar to cheer on our favorite team.

I love kissing and intimacy, yet need and prefer mental stimulation before physical.

I am a city girl at heart, NASCAR, Hunting, Fishing, good ol' boy, Redneck and "roughing it" is not my style. If that's your interest we wont have much of a connection. Just want to say that upfront.

Be happy with YOURSELF before you attempt to date. There are a LOT of men (and women) who plaintively whine "all men/women are mean", If you have problems you ATTRACT the same. Think about it. Also just because YOU are "lonely" doesnt mean a date is going to help. No one is going to make you happy long term if you are personally unhappy.

One last thing, guys, I don't look at age, I look at maturity and I really prefer the company of someone older than me.

Anyway, I never know what to say on these things. You either sound too desperate or too uptight....I am neither and hope you will be too.;-)
