Basic details: I'm English, educated, and working in NYC as a scientist. Complicated biology/genetics stuff, vaguely related to cancer research but too complicated to describe here. The other side of me is pretty evident from the photos. I'm hairy, listen to heavy metal music, and enjoy the typical things like beer and going to concerts and the like. I like reading, travel, movies, cute baby animals, all the same stuff as everybody else. I like to think of myself as an honest person who doesn't screw people around, and I don't have any interest in playing stupid games. I'm pretty laid-back and casual except for when I'm busy ranting about some topic that riles me. My sense of humour is sarcastic, twisted, silly, self-deprecating and unfunny. I'm also somewhat shy until I get get to know people and find this whole internet dating thing weird. I think I've said too much by now.

I'm pretty open-minded about most things. I'm looking for someone who is intelligent, nice, funny and who I find attractive, and who isn't into playing weird psychological games.
