About Me
My main goals in life are being a good parent and living every day in the moment.
I am a good listener but I like to talk too. I am comfortable and can socialize with a wide variety of people. I am always open to new things and experiences.
I really like sports. Basketball is my favorite but I love the Astros and enjoy football too. I like good movies, either out or at home. I love to scuba dive (although I have not been in a few years).
I believe that the keys to a lasting relationship are trust, honesty and genuinely liking the person that you are with and missing them when they are not around. I want to be excited about seeing them everyday. I believe that you have to find someone that you can sustain this type of enthusiam with... yes the new wears off but if you can find someone that you geniunely like, enjoy their company and are friends with then your relationship can last. Physical chemistry is a must and mutual attraction but there has to be more under the surface to endure everything that life throws our way. I often wonder why most people you talk to have "best" friends and those friends have been with them for 20-30 years.... but our relationships and marriages seem to fail long before that.... It is something to think about.....
First Date
I think a first date should be as painless as possible, very casual and just somewhere to spend time talking and getting to know the other person better to see if there is a connection or not.
