A little about me:

I love to laugh and be goofy. I'm not afraid to make an ass of myself, in fact I practice doing it on a regular basis. I have a sarcastic streak (o.k, more like a runway), and a warped sense of humor. I'm somewhat of a chameleon in that I dress how I feel, from jeans, to funky to classy. I'm a great mom, a super friend, and a serious romantic. I like to have the door opened for me, receive flowers and have my cheek softly stroked. My inner arms are sensitive. I tend to procrastinate, but I'll get to that later. I have a house in the country, 2 dogs and a cat. I have cute feet and an easy smile. I range from silly to intense. I know a little about a lot. I can fix some things that break around the house myself. I don't like to argue, but I don't take crap. I'm impatient with ignorance and intentional stupidity. I'm charmed by wit and wisdom. I would rather be alone than with the wrong person. I'm financially independent, and am only interested in a man who is, as well.

A little about what I am looking for:

Someone smart: book- and street-. Someone who is thoughtful and kind, who says please and thank you to the waitress. Someone funny, who can laugh not only at my dumb jokes, but at himself. Someone who will stop on the side of the road to pick me flowers, or to dance with me by the car in the rain. Someone who believes in himself and likes himself. Someone toward whom others gravitate because of their warmth and friendliness. Someone with a sense of sarcasm who is a little off-the-wall. A man who loves completely and passionately, but not obsessively or jealously. I would prefer someone who can spell, and generally ignore IMs and messages where the person writes something like, "hi how r u" (not only the lack of effort in the spelling, but if you can't be more creative, why bother? Trust me, guys, we get a ton of those.) Spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in these profiles irritate me, because it points to a lack of caring. Putting the effort into trying to find the appropriate someone really should matter.
I may sound shallow, but appearance matters to me. I like a man who's bigger than me ( I'm not large, nor am I tiny)-generally 5'10" or more (I like to wear heels at times...). I am especially attracted to dark colouring and angular features. A beautiful smile is a great asset. I have piercings and tattoos (all tasteful- well, at least to the public eye! Not someone you'd be embarrassed to take to meet your mom), so that is great (although not necessary--but...mmmm...a man with his arms sleeved and bed-head...yum!) in a partner, but at the very least, someone attractive, who practices personal hygiene and cares about his appearance and style.

Guess that's about it...of course, I realize you can't dictate who you'll fall in love with, these are just things I typically find myself attracted to.

Please have a picture of yourself if you would like a reply, it's only fair. If you don't receive a reply, don't be offended, it's nothing personal, I just don't like you enough to be bothered. Also, if it seems to me that you haven't taken the time to read this far (and I can generally tell), don't expect a response. I didn't put all this effort into my profile for nothing. I try to answer all emails, but if all you have to say is "hi", "how are you", "wanna chat" or "you have nice eyes", I don't know that you've really earned a response. Go ahead, wow me!

Caveat: It probably won't work if you live with your parents or don't have a car...not that I'm materialistic, just that I don't want to worry about your parents walking in at this stage of my life, and while I have a car, I don't always want to be picking you up. Plus, I'm a little materialistic.

And for all you fellas who just want a little action...don't bother.
