Like most of you I am looking for chemistry and a connection; of course we'll need to chat and date first - but my hope is to find a long term partner to spend my life with.

I like my home. I like the CBC. I take my laughing seriously. I like to wander my neighbourhood with the dog. I prefer dogs that aren't overly friendly. I like my coffee late in the morning - even if I'm up early. I like to entertain friends, go hiking or cycling, and I like to take spontaneous weekend trips. I'm a good driver, a good gin martini maker, and I love my work.

I grew up urban, but spent a lot of time in the country so I am a small-town girl in many ways, although I will admit to some urban tendencies (like pedicures and an interest in dining out). I am happy to report that I can drive a tractor, gut a fish, replace an electrical switch(well, not at the same time - okay, maybe at the same time... those new tractors pretty much drive themselves!).

Although I do not want children - I do like them and I fully respect the commitment a father has to his kids. I would never get in the way of that.

I like a man who is self-reliant, funny, kind and well mannered. I look forward to chatting with you.
