About Me
Hi There
Are you ok with not seeing me for eight days? Sorry, we haven’t even met properly. I’m Dave, 32yo and I’m house trained. Mostly. I’m generally clean and tidy but not pedantic, I mean, I only iron the back of my underpants and fold my socks four times not five. I wash my hands around forty-two times per day - I heard sixty-three is considered obsessive/compulsive - so I’m quite normal really. Just kidding hey ;-)
I work at a gold mine laboratory south of Kalgoorlie meaning I’m not around for eight days but then I am back for six and every second swing it's a week on and week off.
I’m a keen cyclist – haven’t had a car for seven years so am used to riding everywhere. People say I’m intelligent but I’m not really sure hey. I did well at school but there are a lot of questions I have no answers for and the more I learn, the less I realize I know. So I’ll keep learning.
Music is large part of my life, recently went to Parklife and I’ve just bought tickets to see the Editors in Melbourne and The Big Pink here in Perth next year. Future Music Festival is on the cards too. Triple J is the only radio I listen to, though not as much these days.
I enjoy a drink on my days off and play golf when I can, shoot pool, play table tennis.
Having studied meteorology at uni I'm passionate about the atmosphere, and have twice been storm chasing around Tornado Alley in the USA.
I love semantics and find redundancies in the English highly amusing, so many people aren't aware of what they are saying and seem to just spout rhetoric they’ve heard! Recently, I read a book called Eats, Shoots and Leaves – a humorous guide to correct punctuation. I read quite a bit actually, currently working through The Book Thief and it’s excellent.
I am very fond of cats – there is one on my lap right now, though I’m also partial to dogs and having recently done a snake handling course I’ve become quite fascinated.
I believe respect is paramount to any healthy relationship and common ground although not essential, does help. I enjoy listening to stories. One can learn a lot watching and listening. I'm pretty open with the sort of female I'm looking to meet. Fun attitude, bit of integrity, with some life experience is a good start. Ever noticed a clock tells the time but knows nothing of timing? How’s the timing for you.. ready to meet someone new? You must be hey, you read this far, and for that I say thanks! Message me if you like what u read, tell me a bit about yourself.
Dave
