I am a person who is looking for someone who is not into playing games and is ready to settle down into a real relationship. I am a person who loves her family and friends and loves spending time with them. I am a teacher so I obviously love kids and would love a couple of my own someday. I enjoy doing pretty much anything. I love hanging out and relaxing during the summer in my pool (I'm a teacher, what else am I supposed to do?). I have gotten back into skiing in the past couple years and really like it (unless it is really cold). I also love cuddling up at home and watching a good movie. I am pretty much past the bar scene. What I mean is I am not into going out and getting wasted. I don't mind going out and hanging out for a little bit, but I would prefer to do other things. I am a very detailed oriented person at work, but very relaxed at home. That is probably because I pick up after kids all day and have to manage where 25 kids are and what they are doing. When I get home, I like to kick my shoes off and relax. I am looking for someone who has similar interests but also can show me something new :-)

On a first date, I think the typical going out to dinner is always good. That gives you a lot of time to talk and get to know each other, but you still have other people around so that if it becomes awkward you can get distracted by something else. I think the only really bad first date is something like the movies because you can't really get to know somebody. Anywhere or anything that you can do where you can take time to get to know the person would be a good first date.
