Welp.. Lets give this a shot...
I'm a Technology Manager looking for both fun and a relationship.
I work for a 'large financial organization' downtown (chicago).
Basically a professional by day..Nutball cape wearing crimefighter by night. (wink..)

I have long blonde hair and blue eyes...
The hair? Dont bother trying 'read into it'. I just happen to like long hair. I've had it long for 98% of my life since I was 14.
Edu-ma-cation wise? I have a BS(s) in Computer Science(major) and Management(minor).
(No 'useless' degree's such as interior decorating or political science.. (grin))
I've considered going for the masters degree, but never considered it an absolute need.
Short of it? I is'nt no dumbbby.. (grin)
At least one other good thing about the school experience was that I made it out of the universities with no bills! I basically put myself through school. Yet I have to note that my parents helped me out in my senior year because I was running low on cash. (Thanks MOM!)

I've never been married because I havent found the right one. I've been engaged twice, but then discovered somethings about the other person.. Like CHEATING etc.. I'm not much into the 'bar scene'. I pretty much let that go long ago. I spend my time bangin' on my home computers, spending time with my car club Drag racing(black formy)showing (the silver formy), and gatherings(the TA) . I find such things more enjoyable than bar hopping all the time. Did it, done it, bought the T-shirt(grin). Of course I still enjoy going out to a bar, but it simply doesnt have the urgency as it has had in the past. I no longer 'live to party', but I still enjoy the times I do(Yet..I'm prolly still 'above average' WEEEeeee!).

Don't conclude that I'm a 'gearhead'. I'm moreso just an enthusiast. You wont find me 'wrenching on the car'. Whenever work is needed, I just drive it to the speed shop(s), write a check and say 'make it gooder' (grin). I prefer to the let the pros work on it.

I prefer a woman with a 'brain'... Yet at the same time, can be a bit goofy. I'd like somebody who can, with just a look, make me smile. A meal for the eyes..and a banquet for the mind. Proper in public..and 'not so proper' in private. (Grin)
The eyes to me are very important. So much can be communicated thru just the eyes.

In short.. I suppose I could be described as pretty much laid back, with many spurts of nuttiness.
I have a big sense of humor. I can find something funny in pretty much anything. I'm always finding the goofy side of anything or any situation.
So why is this fantastic, single, no liabilities(no kids,alimony or emotional baggage) guy 'still single'? Well it would be due to past relationships simply falling apart for one reason or another(Only once by my own hand.). Its basically because I play no games, and when its time to leave..its over.
Oh..and you MUST like cats.. I once gave my cat away because a girl was allergic. I will never do that again.

Is it just me? Or is it that all women from 'chicago' seem to be ...well... it bit 'off'?
Come on now! Sheesh! Do you all have a bit of pretension or is it just me?
Clue: 'Chicago' is a dump. Pick your subject. Been there..done it. Here's a hint. We have 'bars and restaurants' in the burbs too. (For any body in the burbs..SHHHH..its a secret, because evidently it must be a well kept secret when encountering those in 'chicago' )

But it DOES NOT MEAN I'm some liberal hippy weirdo!!! If you think I'm some kind of 60's throwback.. fuggetaboutit.
I have a job..no write offs('cept my mortgage) which, in short, means the g'ment LOVES me and the tons of taxes I have to pay. So that should be a clue as to my 'leanings'.
I just happen to like long hair and am lucky enough to have a job that doesnt demand that I cut it.
So if your some liberal tree hugging shave the whales type...please..keep looking. And I wish you luck in finding that special unwashed grateful dead follower that lives for his next sale of spat out bubble gum to sell as 'art'...

I suppose a simple dinner/movie would be the traditional thing to do.
But I'd probably invite you to a drag racing event, or car show. If your a car nut, I'd probably also ask that you drive one of 'da birds' so as to participate as well.
