What you see really IS what you get. Easy-going. Genuine. Down-to-earth. No drama, no games, no attitude. No flash, no bling --- just me! You'll notice none of my photos show me standing next to a fancy sports car or dressed up in a Tux at some swank soiree. In the interest of full disclosure, I turned 56 in June 09. Somehow this site has me at 53 and won't let me change it.

My friends say I'm not only bright, but that I'm "wise". I'm a good listener and communicator. I'm affectionate and romantic, love to hold hands, cuddle and kiss. I have a fun sense of humor with a quick wit. I have no children, but I'm definitely "kid friendly". I believe in being kind to people and to the planet.

I bike, rollerblade or walk down by the beach most mornings, for fun and fitness. I also hike, ski and golf. I go to lots of movies, and plays are fun as well. I enjoy wine tasting, casual dinners, museums and galleries. I can find pleasure in simple things -- a juicy strawberry (covered in chocolate? yum!); a relaxing massage; snuggling in front of a fire; a picnic under a shady tree...

I'm seeking a woman who is happy with herself and her life, but who knows it could be even better with the right partner. She loves to laugh, to hold hands, to kiss... Genuine, she knows who she is and what she wants. She is more impressed with substance than flash, and knows that "balance" means more than being able to stand on one foot without falling over.

I want to meet my best friend. The one that knows me inside and out and loves me anyway. I want her to be the first thing I think about when I open my eyes and the last thing I think about when I close them. I want her to feel the same.

A casual glass of wine or a stroll somewhere fun and scenic (beach, bay, Balboa Park). Both will allow us to relax and get to know each other. If we are enjoying each other's company, it could extend much longer. If not, we'll have a pleasant 20-30 minutes together, and an experience to build on.
