I am hoplelessly bad about writing these descriptions. First, a little about me:

I'm over-educated. I have two master's degrees, one in history and one in English.
My work background is varied and currently I work for a large corporation.

I have a Shar Pei mix and a parrot. In case you're wondering, parrots *do* know what they say. I'm sure of it. I think.

I have lots of interests that include running, hiking, making art (badly), sewing and gardening. I have also developed an interest in rugby but unfortunately we don't get games in the US unless we pay for Setana Sport or some other satellite service.

My ideal man: Intelligent, able to talk about anything and everything, able to be honest and forthright, someone who enjoys being outdoors or sitting in front of the television.

My philosophy on long distance relationships: They can work. I'm open to a long-distance relationship and was even engaged to a man from Australia for a time.

What I'd like to do on a first date: Talk! I want to learn about a man's personality and how he thinks, how he lives his life. I like coffeehouses and restaraunts.
