Retired Navy man and now fully retired looking for a soul mate to spend time with and do things with. Some one who is willing to try new things and still like to do things that they like to do while having there own space and leaving space for their soul mate. All I can say is that I have had more life and work experiences then most men that you will probably meet because I have worked mostly 12 to 16 hours a day and I definetely know what the word work means and it just isn't a 4 letter word to me. Because you only get out of it what you put into it and not only use it as a survival tools.
Not interested in any one who smokes, does drugs or drinks alcohol excessively or on a daily basis in excess.
I have many interest and am not afraid to try something new and I like to learn something new every day when ever possible. I love to travel when I can afford to do it. The pictures I have are from mothers day of 2006 and I don't have any current pictures. When ever you point a camera at me I turn the other way because I just don't like to have my picture taken. Love the ocean and like deep sea fishing.
I have been told that I have a good personality and can start a conversation with just about any one. My friends tell me that they have never seen any one that has patience like I do with either people or computers when working on them to solve whatever is wrong with them.I know how to cook and have been making home made jerky for 35 years and have had some outstanding comments on it of why don't I make and sell it. I can do any house work that needs to be done and I am not looking for a women for the women duties but for a partner and companion.
The one thing that I can't figure out and don't truly understand about women is that why is it that they always want a man that is 6 inches to a foot taller then them. Is it a security issue or protection issue? The part of this that the few you I have talked to on the "IM" say they don't have the reasons why they want a man that is 6 inches to a foot taller then they are and they don't have a just answer for the question. The only other thing that I will tell all of you women is that I am not afraid to talk to you on the yahoo "IM" and I do have a web cam and am willing to let you see who I am in person because I have no secrets to hold back or hide. I feel that it is a better way to decide who you might and might not want to meet in person so if any of you have the time or interest you can contract me an I will be willing to give you my "IM" so that you can see if I am as bad looking in person as most of you think I do in my pictures.
I also have a lot of education between military schools for career fields and training school and have 2 associates degrees and a lot of life experiences on other trades and jobs that I have done most of my life by working a full time job and part time jobs most of my life. I use to work and go to college and at times I worked 3 jobs and went to college 10 days out of a month because it is something I wanted to accomplish and I did so I am not afraid of work even if I am not suppose to work anymore now.

The first date I would probably prefer to meet for lunch or dinner and sit and talk to see how things would go. You can learn a lot from how you are perceived by a person body language and how they hold there hands when talking to you. You can also perceive how they think about you by the way they turn there feet. All of this information I have read about on the internet and it makes sense.
