Initially I'm shy but given some time I open up. I love trying new things, if you can teach me something new you definitely win bonus points. I'm pretty competitive so if you teach me a game/sport I have not problem kicking your a** right off the bat. I'm a summer person and think there's nothing better to do on a nice weekend in July than go camping with friends. In the winter I like to stay warm indoors but still get out sometimes for a cool jog. I like spending my weekends with friends at a pub or playing poker. And quite possibly the most important thing about me, I hate country music :).

I'm looking to meet some people outside of work. Someone intelligent that I can have a conversation with is a must so please don't write me like you are a 14 year-old girl on MSN. I'm independant so someone with an independant, active lifestyle would be good. An outgoing personality is also good to balance out my shyness at first.

Doing something where you can talk is good so the movies is probably not the best option. I'm not great at the coffee date, the shyness kind of plays a big role in that one, but mini golf is always fun or any other type of game. Dinner is ok too, at least I can play with the straw in my water glass if I get nervous :).
