I'm an eternal optimist who laughs easily, is kind-hearted and loves life. And don't let the 5' height scare you away; inside, I'm really much taller and with heels on, I'm at least 5'4" tall!!!
On a dare or at least with some serious coaxing, I have tried dragon boat racing, a triathlon, live theater, Polar Bear Plunging and traveled at 100+ mph on a cigarette boat. I have no desire to do any of those things again but am open to new adventures and activities unless it means jumping out of a perfectly good plane, auto racing or other equally terrifying experiences.
Although fun-loving and spontaneous, I'm also a hard-working, serious career gal who still enjoys the challenge of working full time and have been able to strike a happy balance between the two. At times I can be the life of the party or at least organizing and hosting it and at other times you will find me very quiet and reflective and just wanting to snuggle in.
I welcome all four seasons and what each has to offer, especially time spent in the great outdoors. I love water and nature, beaches, picnics, and walking the beach, sand dunes, the forest and parks. I also enjoy quiet times, preparing a lovely meal, reading in front of a fire, spoiling and being spoiled, cross-county skiing, hiking, exploring and sunsets.
On the flip side, I also enjoy theater, the arts, entertaining, dining out, a nice red wine, dancing and 'Puttin on the Ritz'. However, those things are much more enjoyable with a partner.
Most people have a sport they are passionate about and mine is sailing, both racing and pleasure cruising and I embrace all the fun, competition, and relaxation it provides. You don't have to be a sailor (although that would be great), just be willing to tolerate my love of the sport. I have a small sailboat (22') I spend time on, both at the dock and pleasure sailing so hopefully you would be game enough to give it a try. I will do the same for your sport.
I love surprises, the night sky, rainbows and sunrises. I enjoy most music, both live and recorded; great movies, a really good sitcom, a great book, and quiet times.
I'm hoping to meet someone to share joint interests with, learn new ones and most of all; to explore, experience, enjoy life and each other.
I've baited my hook, dropped my line in the water and I'm fishing. If you like what you see, just give my line a little nibble.

Somewhere or something that allows for conversation to see if we 'click'.
The first outing may not be terribly exciting but if we 'click', it will be a lot more fun planning the second outing together!
